More World Cup Spreadsheets
A few weeks ago, I provided a World Cup spreadsheet that I found online, into which you simply plug in the scores and let all the group standings, etc. get filled in automatically. Since then, two people have let me know of other spreadsheets out there. I think both of them look better than the original one I posted, so check these out and you be the judge!
Football Supporters International: At time of posting, this site wasn’t pulling up. Assuming it’s just a temporary glitch, I’ll still link to it here. It’s pretty slick, much prettier than the original one I posted about.
The Ultimate Couch Potato World Cup 2006 Spreadsheet: Okay, this one looks like it takes the cake. It’s got seven different pages, giving you stuff like background info on each team, a birds-eye overview page as well as detailed group and elimination stage pages. This thing is sweet - and will be the one I’ll be using this summer.
Go U.S.A.!

Fantastic! Thanks!

You may not be aware that Fifa changed the Regulations back to Overall Group Points, Goal Difference and Goals before head-to-head mini-groups some one or two months ago. The Ultimate Couch Potato World Cup 2006 Guide has been updated to Version 2 to reflect the changes. It also has an improved Commenting engine.
